Weiler Family Cabin time

We were finally able to get some of my family up to the cabin. It was just for a quick weekend trip but fun nevertheless. It started out a little rough for Michael and I and are car breaking down but we were able to a gas station (barley) to buy some more oil for our car and then we were golden.

Saturday we got up and relaxed. It felt so nice to just enjoy the cabin and relax with family. Later we went down to the river. Doug went out into the water and lasted about 30 seconds before coming back because it was so cold.

We then went back and played games and watched movies during a bit of a rain storm.  Once it cleared for a bit we went shooting outside.  They boys had fun destroying tomato sauce cans with  30 30.  After word the tree was covered in red sauce!

That night we experience a huge lightning storm, that most of the family quite enjoyed(I HATE storms but learning to deal with them).  

Glad we could go relax with the family.  Sad we couldn't get everyone but next time :)
